Where Can I Buy A Fake Id In Toronto

business travel report Southern Peru

As we travel our Plan A had been thrown overboard and had an unrealistic goal, we have to Cusco and Lake Titicaca the Uyuni salt desert in Bolivia and the falls in Iguazu (Bras / Argent) to give, all in 3 weeks, we were now completely free to plan the stress in our mission. I took Betty on 31.12. to 23.45Uhr from the airport, we crack a bottle of Champus and looked to the Peruvians at the traditional burning of their New Year dolls. This year was the most popular "victim" once again the peruan. President Alan García, after the current Chilean-Peruvian espionage, but also the (now) ex-President of Chile Michelle Bachelet and the suspected spy Victor Ariza.

Burn, Alan Burn,

The next day we decided then Südperutour address, but not durchzustarten directly to Cusco, so that Betty was able to acclimatize in peace. We also did not want to start immediately with a 22h ride on vacation. The idea was to us ranzuschleichen slowly over 3 stops in Cusco. Other considerations were also not equal to plunge us into Tourigewimmel and only come to visit Peru basico. The first day took us by Huancavelica, the poorest region of Peru, and the former terrorist stronghold of Ayacucho.

Max and Moritz these two, Huancayo Sunday Market

The first two Cities were therefore not the best, but had different to offer. In Huancayo, we treated ourselves with the best weather and the great Peruvian typical Sunday market, and covered us with the same sorts of things for the journey including Ludo , the local version of "Ludo". From Huancayo to Huancavelica, we wanted to take the Tren Macho . Played us but the happiness in the hands, for the moment due Machozug sets a range from renewal only on Mondays at 6am. That was not exactly our favorite time to travel, but we had no choice and there was also the ticket by the circumstances in vain. So the next morning completely 5.45Uhr slept through the station opened, and we also learned why the train is so named because it "operate from when he wants to come and when he can." 8am trickled to the train and then a strangely fit all people from the queue in the 3 cars with no one had to stand. Fortunately, we got some close to the output of the tractor provided us with fresh air, because the smells in the train were literally breathtaking. At a snail's pace, the train then screwed up the Andes. For the 128 km route between the two cities, which lead through 38 tunnels and 15 bridges, the little train then took 9h. Where the half-hour lunch break on without giving a reason 2.5 hours were extended. However, compensated us for the fantastic scenery of the hardships of the journey.

the station of Huancavelica, we were taken by a brass band as. In the small town on 3.670m was just fair. Otherwise, the town had not much to see. In the hot springs we wanted to relax, but if the Baños del Inca Cajamarca from their 70 degree knows hot water, then the 18 degree cold springs in Huancavelica are rather daunting. The next day we discovered However, the beautiful surroundings of the town, which impresses with rugged rock formations and wild ravines.

Betty was surprised when to start in Peru so the days, because the Latin is so often rumored a laissez-faire lifestyle . But the people in Peru are actually quite industrious and therefore catch the early days also. Our only bus to Ayacucho was then already at 4 am early. The bus from Union Andina underwent the normal minimum standard of buses in Peru, however, Betty took a few classes and on close contact with the local population. Luckily we had reserved seats, as the bus filled up and we thought that would all be entered in the wrong, for according to physical standards, there was really no inch of room left. But we learned one is still pure. I was sitting at the window and had a nice chairman, Betty, however, sat on the floor and the señora knew before her no mercy. Betty Sun finally sat with the front seat back 5cm in his face, a girl sleeping on her shoulder and a thick campesina sitting on her arm 6 hours on the bus. When getting crawled and a boy between her legs out, I had not seen on the whole trip. By bus we twitching but sparkled at 4100m high and very near past beautiful lakes and snow-covered Andean mountain corners. This view, however, it was the bus trip and not really sweeten.

We spent a day longer than planned in Huancavelica and we did not expect much from Ayacucho, we had planned only 5h stay in this city. That turned out to be a mistake, because the Peruvian city, which for 15 years under the worst terrorist (70,000 of the dead) of Sendero Luminoso (Shining Path) had to suffer, turned out to be a true urban gem. Apparently recovered magnificently from the suffering phase Ayacucho shines today in a new splendor. The Plaza de Armas, the more than 30 historic churches and the myriad patios (courtyards), colonial give the city a very nice atmosphere. But the bus ticket was bought and we had to visit all in high speed.
However, we took more time for Betty's first ride in a moto taxi. But we had a long road chosen with proper slope, it should finally be something special. After the Taxistas but cast a glance at me had she declined to take us. Trust in the power of their own machines seemed limited. So we got our support for an auxiliary police officer who thundered by his authority Taxista us a boot up the mountain. He was not thrilled, but acquiesced. The engine roared, and the thunderous snoring, we had to roll a few times the feeling back, and our poor driver had to let the ridicule of his colleagues he had fallen overtaking. But finally we reached the top. We cheered and Taxista breathed easier. We paid him with a neat tip, and so were all happy.

Moto Taxi hike
Well the idea was
the 22h Monster ride from Lima to Cusco to divide over several stages into smaller sections. However, we made the statement without the illogical Peruvian road network. Because even though we were half way Lima-Cusco, was the drive from Ayacucho to Cusco still 19h. Well, never mind, Betty had, after initial problems used to the altitude, therefore, of at least one goal was met. So off to Cusco.

Peruvian travel

the bus to Cusco, we met Daniel, teaches a Peruvian teacher of the selva (rain forest) indigenous . We told of our plans and he offered himself to us as a free travel guide to Cusco to Machu Picchu including alternative Tripp. The first day we visited the city and the nearby Inca ruins above Cusco Sacsayhuaman . While Daniel shopped food for the trip to Machu Picchu, we shot a round of horse and rode to Q'enko , a cult rock of the Incas.

Sacsayhuamán

In the evening we passed through the bars of this beautiful city, and noticed that Cusco is compared to the previous cities, a different world. The city is licked like (there was even waste separation bin!) in the center you can see really just tourists, there are shops and restaurants in Paris or London and the prices are sometimes outrageous.

plaza with cathedral in Cusco

The next morning at 6am we went on a 4 hours drive to Santa Teresa, which is located on the selva side of Cusco. We planned to stay at a buddy of Daniel, whose house was flooded due to heavy rains. While we were playing with a monkey that we sought protection from Rascals girls or would steal from us (sunglasses, tilt box, Pfeffibüchse) we were not so sure, our friend recommended it at a señora in the neighboring town come under. After an exhilarating ride along on the green mountain slopes and steep slopes, we arrived at the señora and decided not to want to stay there because her house was a corrugated iron hut with no water and leaky roof.

Affenzirkus

So we decided to 17.30h still the way to 2h Machu Picchu Pueblo or Agua Caliente to be addressed. We were tired, but I had a bag of coca leaves here, which kept us awake. So we walked to the train tracks of PerúRail against the night. With coca and "Stand by me" on the lips we hiked through beautiful green valleys in the evening mist slowly sank down. But we were glad when we made the move three guys from the north of Hamburg, which were equipped with a headlight, and a 2l bottle of red wine. For we are of course going as hairdressers and light makes itself at a night walk quite well.

came about half past 9 we march after bouncing in Aqua Caliente, at the gateway to Machu Picchu, and also found that direct one for very cheap Tourihotspot Hospidaje (20sol/Pers). The next morning at 6 o'clock we started our ascent to the hidden city. Feels one million stone steps led us straight up to the legendary Inca city and remained in the breathing of the respiratory us in the face of incredible surroundings are impressive.

climb to Machu Picchu

At the top we stopped breathing but given the crowds at the entrance, which all have the bus can go up. Daniel us an alternative trip had promised, who had until then been particularly marked by improvisation and blind faith in our "Guide" piloted us past through secret channels to the crowds and suddenly we found ourselves in this mystical place, Machu Picchu. We were stunned by this sight!

When the rise behind him and his views of the 1000m deep valleys and wander almost 3000m high mountain peaks can be, inevitably raises the question: "How did they do that?" How people could accomplish with the then possible technical means, this logistical masterpiece? Especially in light of the city nor the Huayna Picchu rises into the sky, standing on its head more ruins. The mystique of the place increased to venture through the historical understanding that there are over Machu Picchu. Who lived in the hidden City? What purpose did she have? And when and why they abandoned? Since the discovery of Machu Picchu from a mere 102 years are all these unanswered questions and the answers just speculation.

Indiana Jones Greetings from

a bad aftertaste, this impressive moment came, however, for Agua Caliente is a bad Tourifalle. The prices are staggering, the employees of the restaurants are unfriendly and you have to constantly be on guard not to get ripped off (prices on the card and account must compare!). By Daniel, we had less trouble, but other backpackers did amazing to report. A 2nd Downside was the apartheid policy of PeruRail ( as a Chilean company called by the Peruvian chile rail ). The train is the only means of transport with which one can rely Aqua Caliente and for Peruvians and tourists are strictly separate cars, so we do not also demand our journey could end with Daniel.
The next day we recovered from our trip with a stroll through Cusco and Tuesday was it then to Puno on Lake Titicaca.

pedal taxi in Puno

Apart from a small port trip by rickshaw Puno had not much to offer and we shall continue after breakfast to Copacabana, a small town on the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca. Peru (70%) and Bolivia (30%) share the lake located at 3800m altitude, which is about 15 times as large as Lake Constance. In Copacabana we have had a look and then have to El Mirador , the best hotel in town, checked. The beautiful lake view from the room we made up for the 12 € per night we had to wages for the room.

El Mirador

Copacabana, with its 3,000 inhabitants, although only a small town has to offer but not much. Besides the rather clean Sand-stone beach in the beautiful bay, a stunning cathedral, and a rich and wide-drawn day market, there is a small tourist street with many chic bars. Unfortunately, the Peruvians have no real sense of cozy, atmospheric pubs, as they can from the Bolivians abschneiten flat. This will rely on the Bolivian beer tastes like extremely diluted Peruvian.

Bay Copacabana

The first day we explored the Bay of Copacabana were eating in a hippie dropout community lunch (Betty: "It is indeed like Goa for the poor here") and were on the way back to Hotel 40 minutes long followed by a pack of horny dogs. Unfortunately, the savage sought by a bunch (10-12) males chosen and pursued lady dog choose us in solidarity and did not help us from the side. The other dog and therefore not sexually unsatisfied dogs growling and barking by constantly suggesting a latent aggressive impression. The 40 minutes seemed to pass away due to the permanent tension somehow very slow and we were glad when we got back to the hotel. Poor dog lady!

ass cold and wet boat trip

The next day, starting at 8 clock, the ferry to Isla del Sol . While in the Peruvian Andes of rain in the rainy season (October-April) most point 17 uses clock seemed to be in the Bolivian Andes, the daily rain of early morning phase. In any case, the 2 hour crossing to the island damn wet and cold, but we were brave stand on the upper deck. As if by magic the clouds broke at the Isla del Sol and on the island welcomed us with a clear blue sky. The name of the island does not seem to come from nowhere.

bay and beach on the Isla del Sol

What we are on the north side of the island was expected, however, surprising. In a bay backpackers camped on the beach and jumped early at 10am in bikini and swimwear around, as if they were on the Pacific beach. By Frozen on the boat ride and bundled up in layers of clothes with 3x wool hats we must have looked like aliens. The sun shone, the water was blue and clear and we used the time on the beach to warm us. Later we went then to the trail to the south side of the island.

trail Isla del sol

The island has served to Inca times as a tourist and pilgrimage site, because after the Inca mythology, the Inca God Inki his two children, the first Inca ruler, while on the island earth behind. Somehow we had a slight Inselpaziergang expected in cool temperatures and were prepared for the reality to be mediocre. For to us a proper hike expected with significant differences in height and temperatures around 25 degrees. On the island, we boarded and (forcibly) the highest mountain (4022m) of the entire trip. We therefore packed with ladies handbag and tons of clothes that we are gradually peeled away from the body in layers, over hill and valley of the sun island. After 4h tighter walk with unforgettable images and impressions in mind, but sweat-soaked clothing on the body in the south port of the island arrived, we just caught our boat back to Copacabana. There were we exhausted to bed and into a comatose sleep.

Copacabana

The next day we went on a 36h bus ride from Copacabana to Nasca directly on the Peruvian Pacific coast. Unfortunately we had to because of the passing days of holiday leave left Arequipa. In Nazca we arrived early at around 6 am and went directly to the provider of the flights over the famous Nazca Lines. After breakfast we went to the airport and with the 4-seater Cessna into the air. Not only the lines are worth seeing from the air, but also scarred, rough desert landscape that is so typical of Peru's coast. A little further south of Nazca is the driest desert in the world (Atacama Desert).

desert coast at Nazca with Panamericana

Like Machu Picchu is not entirely clear why the Nazca lines were used. Presumably they were created by the pre-Inca Nazca culture astrological purposes. They were created sometime between 800 BC and 200 AD. Are shown above all animals, but also an astronaut called human-like figures, that seems to beckon the viewer to air. The winding flight is not only because of the Nasca lines is an adventure and takes about 40min.

"Astronaut"

The three figures shown here are the pictures smaller in comparison to the "lizard" and the "Condor" tiny. After the flight over the Nazca lines, we contributed our final destination, the Playa Cerro Azul on. There we relaxed doing the last 4 days with nothing but what was very hard because there was an all around feel-good service. The mobile vendors provided us with everything you need on the beach Sun Deck chairs and sun cream, fresh ceviche, cold beer, popcorn, sand molds, etc. We had put us so at noon, and also went to the beach again after the sun says goodbye with a theatrical show of colors behind horizon. In between, we danced with the famous Cerro Azul waves, already announced by the Beach Boys were "Surfin'Safari" sung.

Cerro Azul

"Lets go surfin now, everybody's learning how, come on and safari with me ... They're Anglin laguna in cerro azul ... It's getting bigger every day , from Hawaii to the shores of Peru "

Kittens In Bate Mans Bay

Everything has an end ...

... also the most beautiful Südperureise! The fact was blamed for the blackout here in the blog content. Actually, I still wanted to sum up the trip before the holidays, but since brim over again the events that I did not come about and why the long silence. Before the next (hopefully timely) entry travel writing let pass in review, I would like to report briefly on Christmas. Its age, but in Germany, probably remains the white winter and again, the garlands are still in the windows and the Christmas trees to continue the Needles in the stomach. A small Christmas Flashback seems quite possible.

Oh, Happy ...

Because of the temperatures and the unfamiliar environment was not set right with me the Christmas spirit. It simply lacked the scent of gingerbread, mulled wine, but also the cold, which make up for me this time. No different than in Germany, went off at the mall Christmas El fifth course in early November, even German Christmas classics were gedudelt up and down, creepy. The official Christmas fuss created by the city was, of course, how it should be different from Yanacocha sponsored. Events, jewelry and nursery were all under the logo of the mine. Beautiful contemplative hypocrisy. Valentin and I were invited by the mayor as the official Christmas Mass and attended it. Much love, solidarity and peace was proclaimed, and then put the first lady of the city the Christ child in his crib cradle on the Plaza. The interesting thing about the show I found that even regional tradition was involved and the Ukuku , a masked Santo (Saint), with a disguised as peasants Rascals children properly made in the Bambule Iglesia San Francisco .

hits home for Christmas in Blanco Corte touch the floor to actually reflective. Because on Christmas eve two years ago, the grandmother of the family died, the afternoon was devoted to the meaning of remembrance. At noon we were in a small church where a family funeral mass was held, and then we went to visit the cemetery of the city. Cemetery culture, I always find it quite interesting and I was amazed about the beautiful houses that are built in Cajamarca for the deceased. Either there are large single-family tombs or even greater peace 6etagige white blocks of about 80m long and 12m high, will be assigned in which every (r) a deceased coffin wide niche which can be decorated individually. Then, the funeral entourage moved to a team of 30 experts vegetarian restaurant to dine together.

the evening, each family member prepares traditionally a little something for the dinner table. In this case there was quite a mess when we were down to ten men after all, the kitchen has limited space and everyone had forgotten something and then took some of the other ingredient. Much has been said incidentally, helped and nibbled. My contribution was homemade chocolates (failed) and stuffed baked apples (very successful). While the Dishes in the oven entgegenbruzelten its completion, the family gathered to read the father of the Christmas story from the Bible. Then there was a lively inter-familial exchange on different personal feelings that every (r) combines with Christmas and before eating, to 22 clock was brought. It had every family member a amigo secreto , previously erwichtelt and it was to give presents. Actually, for the gift of a price ceiling was set, which I had, however, exceeded slightly. For I bestowed Cesar, whose beloved old wok I like in the 3rd weeks had scratched my presence completely. To this outrage to make amends, it was hard for a new wok. I was the secret friend of Andrea, the 7 year old granddaughter, who gave me a jumping from a conch Bobble Angel, now decorated my bedside table.

On 1 Christmas Day there was the obligatory pavo (turkey) at lunch and on 2 Christmas holiday was a walk to the nearby waterfalls of Yacanora announced.

Daily after Christmas and then again gave a classified document Pusch project. We are 3 days in a row invited to the municipalidad (City Hall) and stalked slowly towards us technically interview the mayor. Only as the Secretary, then Chief of Rural Development and on the last day before I left it after countless failed attempts, finally work with the alcalde . At first it did not look so, because we were only invited to a formal event in Jesus . But the former mayor of the small town had close to a small hacienda with a small zoo and trout farm, to which he invited us. The politicians then flowed the beer flows, there were freshly prepared trout ceviche (my best so far in Peru) and the mayor of Cajamarca, it could not take us in person to Kokaspezialrezept prepare. Coca leaves with anis flamed, very tasty. In this relaxed atmosphere we could finally talk about Marco Aurelio La Torre Sánchez us on camera interview to give. Hallelujah!
